Living
in the city creates unlimited opportunities for shooting photographs.
I'm always searching for that perfect photo, even when I don't
have a camera. My goal is to capture images that give the viewer
a chance to see things in a new way or to get a different perspective
on something familiar.
I
put importance on my initial on-site
impression of a scene and focus on the composition.
However,
sometimes I'll edit the image on the computer
using a variety of "digital darkroom" techniques to
crop or to add textures and effects.
I shoot with an Olympus
E-10 digital SLR but sometimes use 35mm cameras. Subjects
include: architecture,
graffiti,
street scenes,
nature, people, and a variety of random objects.
