Even an internet ebay sale sold around 70 paintings.
An oil painting depicting burning Chase Bank Branch situated in Suburban Van Nuys has been sold for $ 25,000 to a German collector. Amongst various collectors of paintings, a Britain collector has paid $ 3,600 for a Bank of America Branch in fumes.

A Tallahassee museum has been told to retain a famous painting for the time being until rightful ownership is established. The famous painting in question is called "Christ Carrying the Cross Dragged by a Rogue" and has been made by Girolamo Romano.
The famous painting was part of a $30 million exhibition of Baroque paintings from the Pinacoteca di Brera museum in Milan, lent to the Mary Brogan Museum of Art & Science in Tallahassee. Famous as the painting is, the story behind it could be straight out of a script. Originally painted in 1538,in 1914, a Jewish man named Giuseppe Gentili bought the painting at an auction, but he was forced to flee Italy during the Second World War.
He then traveled to France, where in a raid by German soldiers which were a regularity back then to acquire famous paintings, art, jewelry and money it was obtained by the Nazis. Gentili's sister and other members of the family died in concentration camps, and so further ownership needs to be established. However, under the circumstances the Brogan Museum will keep the famous painting through November 20th and it will remain on display there this fall.

Tiago Finato's oil painting, which pays tribute to the tenth anniversary of 9/11 incident, has been displayed at the Main Fall River Public Library. The oil painting is called "Human Emotion at a Moment in Time" and took more than one year to materialize from a concept to canvas. The oil painting has been built on a 6*7 foot linen canvas with no uniformed officials such as police or fireman on it. The highlight of the oil painting is a man in the centre of the painting with people of various diversities around him. A young girl signifying virtuousness and a red angel bringing the retired souls to heaven have been beautifully presented in the oil painting. Gold colored paint symbolize the World Trade Center and bold brush stokes create the "Human Emotion" in the oil painting. The oil painting, through its artistic techniques, emphasizes the dreadful nature of the 9/11 massacre.
